The 6 months of planning, preparing and advertising paid off and culminated in an excellent inaugural show! We had approximately 182 customers through the doors, 52 vendors set-up and were only 6 tables away from being sold out. All nations and wars were represented from: the US, Germany, Japan, South American countries, Russia (Soviet Union), Iraq, etc and conflicts like: the Boxer Rebellion, Spanish-American War, WWI & II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. This wide variety of militaria made for an enjoyable show for both sellers and buyers. We had a dealer come as far away as Leesville, LA and a buyer that had traveled from Tokyo, Japan to find inventory for his business back home.
We couldn’t have asked for a better facility than the Knights of Columbus Hall in Schertz; it had bright lights, wide aisles, clean bathrooms, easy access, big tables and a pretty good snack bar to boot. We had lots of positive comments from both customers and sellers about the venue selection as well as the show in general.
The ACME staff would like to thank all those who attended the Fall 2012 Show for making it a huge success!
